Isla arrived full force at 1:58 pm on Tuesday, April 21st. 9 pounds 2 ounces and 21 inches. She's spending a few days in the NICU because she inhaled stuff she shouldn't have. Because her Mom and Dad look alike, it's been decided she looks like both of them. How else could it be?
Mom was able to hold her about 3 a.m. Wednesday but Dad beat her to it about 9 Tuesday night. She nursed for the first time today at 2:30 p.m. and Isla loved it. Took to it like a pro.
Only parents and grandparents can visit the NICU so Alex hasn't been able to see her yet. Friday will be here before he realizes it.
